No, I think he is talking about the windows country settings which you can find in the system control panel in the point localization or something like this.

So i tried installing in german and changed my location in windows to german, and still same issue, run-time error 13 " type mismatch"

this is starting to drive me nuts cause i had this running before.
i have tried on 3 diff computers, with win 7 and xp, reinstalled windows, reinstalled ces about 20 times and still i get this runtime error.

it doesnt make any sense.

but for some reason 3.4 will install and run.

mhh... sorry.... but i do not have any more ideas at the moment!

Please give us the error-description also in english and make a screenshot of the error message.

I'm currenly having the exact same issue as JohhnyCrash.
Everything works up to the point where you want to start CES the first time after the setup asistant.
Could this be an issue with english Win 7? I'm using Win 7 Embedded English for the new prototype.
I have flash and the runtime files installed and working but still get the same error...

As Johnny Cash already said, he have the same error on winxp.
